‘Hearing the time’ – that’s what drives us at KooKoo. We have been developing, producing and selling wall clocks and alarm clocks with bird and animal sounds – all original recordings from nature – since 2001. Most of the clocks have a built-in light sensor that automatically ensures a good night’s sleep.
For the design of the KooKoo clocks, we work together with the design studio Maia Ming Designs in Barcelona. Our company is based in Bavaria in Germany. With first-class customer service and efficient logistics, we supply our KooKoo watches to both retailers and private customers.

Why did you start your brand KooKoo?
KooKoo was born out of my innermost conviction to develop a brand in connection with an emotionally appealing product. A product that children will remember later in life: ‘KooKoo, oh yes, there was that great clock in my children’s room’
When and where was KooKoo founded?
2002 in Munich, the Bavarian capital in Germany.
Where do you produce your KooKoo clocks?
At a long-standing, reliable producer in China, whom I visit regularly.
What do you do when you ARE NOT working?
Running 10 kilometres with my dog in the English Garden in Munich.
