EMIL by BERMACH Handcrafted – baby bassinet made of rattan (0+)

The material rattan has special qualities – it is flexible, sustainable and environmentally friendly. The wooden beds for kids by the Manufaktur Bermbach handcrafted are all made almost exclusively of rattan. Marie-Luise and Alexander Bermbach made their first bed for their own children, and now they have a collection, which includes sidebeds, baby bassinets and children’s beds. The furniture is manufactured in rattan’s home, Indonesia. The artistic meshwork is laced with vegetable-tanned leather and the finished construction is placed on thin but stable metal legs. These sleeping nests are so delicately crafted and minimalistic in their design that they seem to float in the room and suit every decorative style.
