| Maintenance advice | All wooden parts are waterproof glued, the dark surfaces are waterproof coated. The metal parts are corrosion-resistant galvanised or made of stainless steel. The untreated cut edges can still be sealed with wax or oil to protect them from increased moisture penetration. When used outdoors, natural greying of the open edges and lightening of the coating cannot be prevented. The leather parts should be treated with leather care products from time to time. To avoid premature ageing, the wooden horse should, if possible, not be permanently exposed to the weather and should be protected from frost in the cold months. |
