The convertible crib “minimalmaxi” can easily be converted from a side bed for babies to a sparrow bed, cot and junior bed and then to a desk or sofa. The architect couple Grit and Lars Jugel designed the convertible cot for their own daughters, which adapts individually to the changing needs of children and parents over many years. The accompanying mattress also grows with the child, thanks to additional parts at the head and foot ends that can be folded down. Fairly produced in Germany from birch wood, the well thought-out convertible cot – due to its long usability – also conserves resources and thus the environment.
