No matter which way you look at it, the Zaunkönig (the German word for wren) opens up an impressive amount of possibilities. It is made in the Ore Mountains of solid wood and has comfortable foldable cushions. It can be either a high chair for children older than 9 months, or, if you simply turn it on its head and push it against a work or kitchen counter, it becomes a toddler learning tower which children can stand on and join in on the daily life they would usually not be able to reach. And if you lay it on its side, this creative children’s furniture becomes a cosy bench to relax on. Or a hidden den of thieves. Or a ship on the high seas.
