From early childhood to adulthood, we love to play with puzzles and modular toys. These toys teach and prepare kids early in life for some very important life skills. In case of Animaze, a puzzle was redesigned to become a kids-friendly furniture system.

YaWood – rocking horse & play furniture by Argo4 Studio

The goal was to create an object that could be used individually, but that would be more funny when shared. It is made by a curved wood profile that follows the lines of the body. The design concept is inspired by the mother’s hand as a symbol of protection and kindness.

To answer the question about mobility and well-being, we designed a range of moving furniture, which adapts to the students and teachers, throughout the day. To do this, we designed the Cadence range around two constructive systems, the screw, and the compass.
