Tapetto Sensorial – sensory children’s puzzle by Luca Martignon

The key word was “simplicity”, to teach simple gestures and concepts to a child you need something equally simple and functional, so I made sure that my toy was as clean and clear as possible.

Big Book – literary play furniture made of cardboard by Maria Roberta Russi

Big Book is a children-sized book, big enough for kids to “enter” and experience it. Instead of written tales, the book has scenographies, which work as backdrop for the child to create his own stories.

Momentix Toys – educational toys for children by Anna Gilbertson & Alana Amodt

As a kid, Alana loved Rube Goldberg machines (chain reactions.) We realized they were a perfect place to start in designing a toy that would create opportunities to organically practice those skills.

Narizotas – wooden toy puzzle by Joy Moraes

I created the puzzle “Narizotas” so that children and families with big noses can play with the subject, strengthen their self-esteem and face potential bullying situations.

Kit Tangram – educational wooden toys for children by Bruna Kim

The inspiration was the traditional oriental toy called Tangram. It is a geometric pieced puzzle, and in a bidimensional perspective the player can build and discover silhouettes of animals. The pieces have no joints, they are placed close together on a table.

Odotoys – sustainable wooden toys by Stefan Dikker

A traditional wooden block set was the starting point. By adding wheels on removable axes a concept was born.

ROCKEEES – creative open-ended toy made from recycled fridges by Jean-Pierre Raes

Did you ever play with stones at the beach or at the river side, trying to stack them on each other? I always loved the excitement and peace of playing with gravity. This was our inspiration.

The design inspiration for Cody Block was to create “fun little toy”. Not just a learning tool, but create a wooden toy that revolves around a univers (here, the city).

When I was younger I met a kid who never looked anyone in the eye or talk directly to anybody. He was always creating awesome pieces of art and I always wanted to know why he behaved that way.
